NSLI-Y Students Create Scarecrows to Protect their Rice Crop

posted 29 Apr 2014, 22:20 by Logan Krusac
In late April, the students participated in the second part of their rice farming project. The primary task was to create a scarecrow to keep birds from eating the rice. In addition, we spread fertilizer on the rice, which should be ready for harvest in late June.
